Overview

EsduinoXtreme is an Arduino-style board based on the NXP S12GA240 ultra-reliable microcontroller.  This enables you to utilize the power of this 16-bit microcontroller in your products, curriculum, or projects by using any of a great number of Arduino shields already available from various sites worldwide. If you can't find one that exactly matches your needs, you can readily design your own, using the open-source hardware design files you'll find on the Internet, or build your own using our Prototyping Shields.  Since EsduinoXtreme is based on an S12 MCU, your code can be developed using any of the available S12 tools (e.g. CodeWarrior, AsmIDE, GCC, ICC12, Cosmic, MiniIDE, etc.)
